On April 8th, 2016, AJ picked Kendall up for a dinner date. They talked, laughed, but didn't eat much. There never seemed to be a dull moment or lull in the conversation until Kendall mentioned she enjoyed running and typically went for a run every morning. Determined to spend more time with her, AJ decided to make plans to go running the next morning despite running being his least favorite form of exercise and the rest is history.

January 12th 2020 On an unusually warm mid-January morning AJ bugged Kendall to wake up early and take a hike with him at Hunter's Creek--her favorite park in all of WNY. After wandering for an hour or so they stopped at a nurse log to warm their hands. It was silent and peaceful until AJ unexpectedly got down on one knee and asked Kendall to spend the rest of their lives together. She said yes and then they got tacos.
