Restaurants
Anyone who knows Tony and me knows we LOVE to eat! Some of our favorites are Volas Dockside Grill, Hank's Oyster Bar, Momo Sushi Cafe, Chadwick's, Mia's Italian Kitchen, Grape + Bean, Brut Champagne Bar, Chop Shop Taco, Taco Bamba, Hot n Juicy, the list could go on and on...if you need a recommendation for anything specific, just ask!
MGM National Harbor
This Vegas-style hotel and casino is a favorite for nightowls and those wanting to try their luck! There are also a lot of cool restaurants and shops in National Harbor.
George Washington's Mount Vernon
This is a must see for those who have not been and is a fun day time activitiy! There is also a restaurant onsite that serves lunch and dinner.
Washington
Needless to say, there are infinite options for things to do in DC, and it is a short drive or metro ride from Alexandria! From the Smithsonians to all of the awesome restaurants to the monuments, there is something for everybody. If you want any recommendations for anything specific, feel free to ask us!
Breweries
We love a good brewery! Some of our favorites in the area are Port City Brewing, Aslin Beer Company, Fair Winds Brewing Company, Atlas Brew Works (this one is in DC), and Lost Boy Cider. We (especially Kendall) love wineries too, but they are bit further out. Depending on how long you are in town, you may want to take a day trip to the wineries in Loudon County (about an hour to an hour and a half away from Alexandria)!
