After a few weeks of flirty text messages, we decided to meet at Lustre Pearl East for a "hang-out." I thought it was a date; Jamie did not. I bought a new outfit and Jamie came in her signature baseball hat. The conversation was incredible but the flirting was limited at best (something we still laugh about to this day). As the evening progressed, we relaxed more with each other. It felt like we'd been friends forever but we both knew we wanted more. After what we call the "date-non-date," Jamie kissed me and from that moment on we were forever linked and inseparable.
