Things To Do

We're lucky to have many of our favorite places in Baltimore within our neighborhood, Fells Point, where the Pendry is located! We hope you have the chance to visit some of these while you're in town.
Little Donna's

Little Donna's

1812 Bank Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

Named by The New York Times as one of the best 50 restaurants in the US (2023), Little Donna's boasts some of the best pizzas and pierogis. Expect delicious food and an ambience that feels like grandma's living room. Don't skip the Bob's Chopped Salad. Make a reservation - they fill up quickly!

Peter's Inn

Peter's Inn

504 South Ann Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

A Baltimore staple owned and operated by the same couple since 1995. Peter's Inn is a tiny rowhome restaurant that does not have a phone, so you need to email for a reservation. Their House Salad dressing is a favorite. Get the Martini or Manhattan service...but beware.

The Wren

The Wren

1712 Aliceanna Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

A classic Irish pub named to the New York Times' list of America's Best Restaurants of 2025. It has a large Scotch selection and a small food menu that changes daily. Great place for a pint of Guinness. Their sourdough and butter is phenomenal.

Thames Street Oyster House

Thames Street Oyster House

1728 Thames Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

A traditional mid-Atlantic seafood restaurant across the street from the Pendry. The restaurant is small, so make a reservation!

Pitango Bakery + Cafe

Pitango Bakery + Cafe

903 South Ann Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

Bakery and cafe next to the Pendry. Their coffee is great and they have delicious homemade focaccia and freshly sliced prosciutto. Their gelato shop is just north on S Broadway near the Square.

Affogatto

Affogatto

600 South Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

An Italian-style cat cafe that has the best iced lattes. As you wait for your drink to be made, you can watch the kittens play through the glass on the far side of the shop. They've celebrated over 100 adoptions since opening in summer 2025.

Sacré Sucré

Sacré Sucré

933 Fell Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

Pastry shop and cafe where the pastries look like pieces of art. The earl grey macaron is Kendall's favorite. You can enter the shop from Fell Street or S Wolfe Street.

Southpaw

Southpaw

529 South Bond Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

A neighborhood cocktail bar with Kevin's favorite Old Fashioned. Doug of Southpaw was named a James Beard Award Semifinalist in 2026. If you're hungry, their food menu consists solely of a smashburger, chicken sandwich, and french fries, but all are great.

Greyhound Tavern

Greyhound Tavern

1822 Fleet Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

The no frills cocktail bar at the end of our block. Kendall gets the Hot Rats or the Retired Greyhound. Kevin likes to sample the menu. If you're up for it, ask for the House Shot (it's really a shooter, you can do it).

Ale Mary's

Ale Mary's

1939 Fleet Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

Ale Mary's is a quintessential Baltimore corner bar with a good kitchen. They serve classic pub fare and comfort food - get the French Onion Soup.

PILATES HOUSE

PILATES HOUSE

1809 Thames Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

If you're looking for a workout while in town, 1 minute from the Pendry is the original Pilates House location where Kendall is an instructor. Class offerings include different formats of reformer Pilates, heated mat Pilates, and heated yoga.
