Chris and Kendal met in June of 2018. Their first date took place at Wooden Robot Brewery in Charlotte, NC. They both ordered the same beer without even knowing it, and that's when Chris said he knew Kendal was the one! They have been attached at the hip ever since!

Chris decided in April of 2020 that Kendal was the one for him, for all of his days. Why then, you may ask? Well if you ask him, he will tell you - "Spending day upon day on end with her, having absolutely nothing to do and still making the best of the situation made me realize spending the rest of my life with her is exactly the way I want to spend it!" He popped the question in August 2020, on a beautiful hike atop Crowders Mountain- and she said "You betta stop!" (Kendal's code word for YES!!!)
