What is everyone wearing to the wedding?

Answer

Well, Suzanne will be in a dress, Ken could be in anything from shorts to jeans, to a gold blazer..... Guest Attire- nice casual, after all we want to have fun and not feel stuffy in our clothes. There will be dancing and we want you to be able to show us your smooth moves!! Comfortable shoes recommended, heels will sink into the yard, no woman needs that....

Are there any hotels that offer us a discount or where you've reserved a block of rooms?

Answer

The Lodge at Headwaters is offering a 10% discount, which I don't feel is a big savings, but they are the closest hotel. Ask for the Ferris/Hollinden wedding.

Question

Where can I park for the wedding?

Answer

Because the wedding is at our home, there will be no parking in our driveway. You can park on the street. Please be careful to park so cars can still get up and down the street. It is a dead end road so little traffic, but we don't want to upset our neighbors who may need to come and go.

Will the wedding and reception be indoors or out doors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We have arranged tents to cover both the eating area and the dance floor. Although we are hoping for a sunny day, we figured to be safe we will rent tents for the event. Since it will be September and we do live in upstate New York, the weather could cool off as the sun goes down or be hot and muggy. You might want to bring a light jacket in case you get chilly. As to bugs....my plan is that they all leave the yard for the day, but bug spray isn't a bad idea.

How do I RSVP, there wasn't a card to mail back that I was attending or regretfully unable to attend?
