Our story was sealed with a kiss on February 4th, 2018 on Marthart Ave, an aptly timed move on Ken's part that caught Mary off guard in the best way. It was the greatest moment of our lives up to that point. If you live in the Philadelphia area, you know it as the night the Eagles won their Superbowl, but for Mary it was the night Kenny swept her off her feet. Two weeks prior to that, our first date took place on a cold Saturday afternoon in Delaware County. After meeting on "Bumble"- and both swiping right!- we met at the original Brick and Brew for a drink where we learned that we both lived equidistant, 3.3 miles away, from West Chester Pike and had a mutual friendship with the Simpson family. After the kiss that changed it all, our love story grew, from outings with our respective friend groups to trips to the shore to going out to restaurants. We both moved out to Havertown and then to Newtown Square where we reside today! The next best day of our lives took place on December 21, 2022. On our annual Christmas outing to "the shore," Mary told Ken she wanted to collect some sand on our Ocean City beach to have at home. We walked down to the beach, and while Mary was collecting sand, she turned around to Ken down on one knee with her ring in hand. Mary enthusiastically said, "Yes!" while the sun shone down on a beautifully bright and warm winter day. We hugged and kissed more than a few times with joy and excitement! We had the best time sharing the news with our family and friends that day and celebrating with a lot of love and champagne! We are truly so excited to celebrate our wedding day with our loved ones who have shaped us and our relationship, and we thank you for joining us!
