Sometimes love just needs a little push, and in our case, it came from my friends (one of which happens to be Kenny’s sister-in-law!) We were both hesitant to talk since we live far apart, but his sister-in- law decided it was time. She created a group chat and laid it out clearly: “Alright since there’s loads of shyness, I’ll do the awkward text introduction… Kenny, meet Jackie, a pretty awesome friend of mine… Jackie, meet Kenny, my favorite brother-in-law. Don’t make me arrange an in-person meeting, you’re both adults (but I’m not above doing it) 😉.” Well… we talked. And now, ten months later, here we are getting ready to say “I do.” Thanks to a little family persuasion (and God’s perfect timing), we found each other and we couldn’t be happier to start forever together!
