Historic Downtown Sanford
Downtown Sanford is small but cute and worth walking through once. There are quite a few breweries all within walking distance as well as multiple German restaurants and interesting shops. On Saturday there is a little farmers market, emphasis on *little* ;)
The Smiling Bison
This farm to table restaurant is a MUST. Their smiling bison burger is the best burger either of us have ever had the pleasure of tasting. They make their own cocktails and have a great atmosphere. Conveniently located in downtown Sanford. Plus, poutine...Need I say more?
Sanford Brewing Company
Even if you don't have a beer here, the pretzel is worth the trip alone. Bring at least two people to share it with you or eat it all! No judging here because it's that good. The beers are great and the chef comes out to the tables to say hi. Nice little local brewery with good vibes.
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
