Oh, it's going to be official!

The story of how Ken and Brittney met is slightly ridiculous. What started as a possible friendship turned into something more than they both expected. Brittney's first sentence before sitting down at the table at Cheddar's was "My sister knows where I am, so I hope you didn't plan on murdering me tonight." They closed the restaurant and enjoy conversation like two friends picking up from an extended time away. Before Brittney was able to leave the parking lot, she got a text from Ken asking for a "real first date". They made it official a few weeks after the initial meal. From that day forward, their story grew into what we are planning to be celebrate.

It is important to know that Brittney enjoys handing Ken random items because he will always hold it for her, even if it is just pocket lint. Sometimes he won't even realized it happened until he looks into his hand and asks how long he has been holding it. Ken and Brittney went to Western Sizzlin for lunch. While they were waiting for their food, Ken reached in his pocket and held out a fist. He asked Brittney to hold this for him. Straight faced Brittney asked are you really asking me to hold your pocket lint before food? Ken assures her it is not pocket and to just trust him. She holds out her hand and a ring drops in, he asks her to marry him... her response? "Is this real?" with a huge smile. He again assures her that it is indeed really happening, and repeats will you marry me? Obviously, since you are reading this.. SHE SAID YES!
