- DC Monuments/Lincoln memorial/Martin Luther King Jr. memorial: Some of the must-see monuments and memorials that pay tribute to the nation's history and culture.

- The Wharf : a lively waterfront entertainment with dining and shopping options. Don't miss the historic Fish Market that has been there for 200 years with fresh seafood.

- National Harbor: a vibrant waterfront community located just south of D.C.  including a giant Ferris wheel with stunning views of the Potomac River.

- Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive in September for fall color views. 

- For fishing lovers, Fountainhead Regional Park is located on a beautiful Occoquan river with full rental options for boats and fishing gear.
