We met at a little café called El Barista while Ashley was on break between classes and Kenan happened to be working from home that week. Although we had both been to this café before, we had never noticed each other that is, until this day, during the week of finals and before summer break. Everything changed when a friend of Ashley’s stepped in as the ultimate wing woman. After Ashley mentioned the guy sitting at the counter, her friend chased Kenan down after he had already left the café and brought him back in for a proper introduction. We exchanged numbers right then and there, and from that moment we’ve been inseparable traveling the world together, witnessing the beauty of God’s creation, and building a life we love. No matter where we are, as long as we’re together, we’re home.
