Please RSVP by October 5, 2019 to help us plan all the logistics on time.
Indonesia is home to over 1,340 ethnic groups and each one of them celebrate weddings differently. Adilla is Javanese, so instead of a long dress, she'll be wearing a kebaya at the wedding. Ken will be wearing a traditional outfit. The solemnization and reception, however, will follow Islamic customs - so you may expect a halal buffet and alcohol-free evening. Other than that, an Indonesian wedding is very similar to Malaysian (Chinese) wedding, all the way down to the gifting etiquette. Keep an open mind as you will learn about new customs and traditions, and let us know if there is anything we could do to make your experience an enjoyable one!
Guests are advised to wear batik or other traditional clothes in any colors, whichever most comfortable. The dress code is semi-formal. Ladies are advised to leave their stilettos at home because we'll be having the party under the stars and on a natural grass lawn, at the Hotel's Central Garden.
