Welcome to our Happily Ever After

Like many modern love stories, ours started with a Bumble match and a really good conversation—or, actually, months of them. We talked back and forth, getting to know each other, laughing at each other’s jokes, and slowly building a connection that felt easy and real. Kyle asked me out twice during that time, but life had other plans. Between work, responsibilities, and the general chaos of adulthood, I had to turn him down—twice. Then, in a plot twist I didn’t see coming, he quietly disappeared to Florida for a couple of months without saying a word. (Don’t worry, he’s still hearing about that.) But timing has a funny way of working out. When Kyle got back, we finally went on our first date. We saw Jungle Cruise—because nothing says “breaking the ice” like puns, adventure, and The Rock. After the movie, we grabbed dinner at Chick-fil-A, where we ended up sitting and talking for three hours. There was no rush, no awkward silences—just two people who felt like they’d known each other a lot longer than they actually had. That night felt like the beginning of something special. And now, here we are—still laughing, still talking, and so excited for this next adventure together.
