12/31/2016 We met on New Years Eve in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for a fun filled adventure over New Years Eve, but we didn’t think much of romance at that time. Fast forward a year and a half later, we happened to be on Mammoth Mountain the same weekend. Jordan was on a girls trip, snowboarding while Ken was on a snowboarding trip with a large group of friends. We ended up meeting up that weekend for drinks at Kitchen 52, a hot spot on the mountain. We kept going, dancing the night away at Lakanuki. Ken even taught Jordan some sweet dance moves. We both had a great time and decided to hang out the next weekend for a hike. Which happened to be, April 1st 2018. The hike was the perfect spot off the Laguna Beach coast on PCH. Jordan led the way, got lost, and Ken had no idea! Nine miles later we both were feeling pretty good, and that's when we knew, OK, this could be the start of something good...

We went to Saint Lucia for a relaxing vacation after our big move to Austin. Ken took Jordan on a hike, which ended up an intense rope climbing, rock scaling trek to the top. It was well worth it! The view from the top was incredible, as far as you could see, neighboring mountains and turquoise water. As we summited this beast of a mountain, there was a moment and he got down on one knee, and Jordan yelled YES!!! It couldn't get any better than that!
