We started dating in November 2024 after connecting online. Expecting to find true love on the internet felt unrealistic, but what we both suspected to be the most unlikely form of matchmaking quickly became what we are most thankful for - it helped us find each other. When we met for the first time on a dinner date in Manchester, CT it became obvious that we share the same viewpoints on life, our beliefs, our faith and love for Mexican food. We even ordered the same meal. A few days passed and the feeling that it was "just another first date" was replaced by the feeling that this was something different. About a week and a half after our first date we decided to meet up again to make sure there was a real connection. Conversation flowed even more effortlessly. We laughed, flirted and opened up to each other as though talking to a mirror. We were able to unapologetically be our true, unfiltered selves. It's remained that way ever since. Naturally, our relationship progressed to the point when we discussed living together. With Ken's job flexibility it made sense for him to move into Christina's house, so he moved in mid-March 2026 and was able to rent and eventually sell his house to a good friend. On May 2nd, with the blessing of Christina's two wonderful daughters, Ken popped the question of a lifetime. We share a deep passion for building our lives together and we can't wait to see what our future holds in store. It means the world to have strong support systems in both our lives: Ken relies heavily on his amazing parents, brother, sister in-law, extremely close friends, and his beloved Dahlia (Dolly-bug); and Christina on her daughters Anna and Emma, supportive mother, brothers and sisters, and her FIVE always happy dogs.
