Downtown
There is lots of shopping in downtown! We love Malaprop's Bookstore, Grove Arcade, Mast General Store, and Element Tree Essentials. For food and drinks, here are some of our favorites: White Duck Taco Shop, Double D's Coffee & Desserts, Chai Pani, Red Ginger, and DSSOLVR.
West Asheville
Quieter area with a lot of artsy Airbnbs and cool buildings. Food is awesome - Taco Billy is FANTASTIC, Hole Donuts, Admiral.
South Slope
Brewery district - just south of downtown. Favorites: Burial, Green Man, High Wire, Ben's Tune Up, Chemist Spirits.
Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge is STUNNING this time of the year! If you're feeling adventurous, take a drive on the Blue Ridge and hike one of the many trails in the area. Please note, it's important to check the weather and road conditions before heading out. Hikes we recommend: Craggy Pinnacle, Craggy Gardens, Art Loeb, Sam Knob, Black Balsam Knob, and Crabtree Falls.
Biltmore Estate
Beautiful large estate and vineyard near downtown - please note, you do need to purchase tickets to tour.
Mount Mitchell State Park
Not a true hike, but it is the highest point east of the Rockies!
