Our Love Story
Jeff and Mackenzie met in the winter of 2017-2018 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. Jeff worked as a nurse on the medical-oncology unit and Mackenzie was a float pool travel nurse just passing through for a 12 week assignment. We first met when Mackenzie realized she had lost her stethoscope and a very handsome nurse (Jeff), was kind enough to lend her his for the night. Eventually, we went on a couple dates in Fort Collins before Mackenzie moved onto her next travel assignment in California. On a whim, Jeff decided to crash Mackenzie's road trip out to California and they started to fall in love. It didn't take much for Jeff to convince Mackenzie to come back to Colorado after that. We dated for 1.5 years. Broke up for 1.5 years. Realized we wouldn't want to spend our lives with anyone else and the rest is history. Jeff proposed in Switzerland in August 2024. Over the years we've shared many adventures together and look forward to all those yet to come!
