Ben had never been out of the country, and visiting Greece one day was a bucket list item for him. As a birthday/Christmas present wrapped all into one, Lauren planned a Greek Island cruise. Our trip began in Athens, Greece with visits to places like the Parthenon, Pireaus Ports, and Mount Lycabettus. After three days of enjoying the mainland, we boarded a cruise through the Mediterranean. On our first night on the ship, Ben noticed that there were professional photographers who knew the islands well and helped photograph family portraits, proposals, and special occasions. We loved that we weren't committing to purchasing any photos and felt that we should do a shoot to commemorate and memorialize our trip. As I went on that night to see shows and explore the ship, Ben had snuck back downstairs to meet the photographer and tell her his plan of a proposal on the island of Mykonos. The next day we woke up early to get all dolled up and head to the island for our photoshoot. The island was beautiful and our photographer knew the best places to take photos and relax. It was almost like we had a private tour of the island. Little did Lauren know that at the third stop on a small rocky beach with clear blue water in the background, Ben was standing right behind, ready to propose. It was so romantic. We continued to tour the island and take more photographs with the ring to celebrate the engagement. We were both so happy to have such an amazing experience and to have captured the entire moment on camera. Truly magical.
