From an App to Happily Ever After Never say never. Lauren never wanted to try online dating or download any of the apps. However, after her brother Matthew met the love of his life on Hinge, he kept prompting her to give it a try. So, eventually she agreed. The app Hinge was downloaded and the journey began. On her profile, Lauren wrote that the key to her heart was a man who values his faith, loves his family well, and lives an active lifestyle. He’d win her over if he lived intentionally, laughed wholeheartedly, listened thoughtfully, and loved God above all else. She prayed over these words and trusted GOD with the rest. Then, on October 3rd, 2024, she matched with Jeremy! He was everything she had been waiting for! (He was also her most compatible match, according to the app.) After messaging a little, they quickly found this to be true for themselves and made plans to meet. On Sunday October 13, 2024, they met at Belair Cantina in Wauwatosa for their very first date. From the start, Jeremy knew this date was going to be special as he saw a rainbow on his drive to the restaurant. They instantly hit it off that night, closing down the restaurant as the conversation never stopped flowing. That very night they made plans to see each other again and even discussed going to church together. As they began to date, they had a habit of closing down a few different establishments because they never wanted their time together to end. Very quickly, they knew this relationship was one that was meant to last! So when he asked her to be his girlfriend October 27th she said yes! Then, just 6 months later to the date, she said yes again when he asked her to marry him on April 27th! GOD works in mysterious ways to bring people together. Never did we ever think a dating app would be the start of our love story, but we are forever grateful that everything “hinged” on GOD plan and timing!!
