Person of Honor
My sibling Grace and I were often confused for twins growing up - I am so fortunate to continue to call my sibling my friend. While we may not be actual twins, at only 18 months apart I sometimes think we continue to share a brain and I'm so happy to have them stand by my side on my wedding day!
Best Man
You can say Brendan is my favorite brother. He is also my only brother. Together, we make up half of the Cedar Mountain Box Boys, we got up to all sorts of shenanigans growing up. Though he may not be as handsome as me, there’s no one else I’d rather have as my Best Man.
Maid of Honor
Kevin and I met Hana in the fall of 2015 when she was on exchange from Australia - we immediately became fast friends and that friendship has lasted over long distance as we kept in touch from halfway around the world. When she made the choice to move back to Raleigh two years ago I could not have been happier!
Groomsman
The next member of the Cedar Mountain Box Boys, Robert grew up the street from Brendan and me and I’ve known him my whole life. As a man of the good times, don’t be surprised if he’s out there tearing up the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Kathleen is Kevin's younger sister and one of my dearest friends - we met originally through Kevin (duh!) but after she moved to Raleigh for grad school at NC State I had the opportunity to get to know her more than just a sister-in-law but as a friend!
Groomsman
The last but certainly not least of the Cedar Mountain Box Boys is Robbie. Though he’s from Atlanta, I have no memory of life before knowing Robbie. As the Box Boy who lives for the extreme, he would ride his skateboard down the aisle if given the opportunity.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and I met when we were in Girl Scouts as high schoolers - she left for college a year ahead of me but when I started at NC State we reconnected by chance in Alexander Hall. From that day forward she has been one of my closest friends through all the adventures of college and after as we started our careers and began our "adult" lives!
Groomsman
Casey and I met through Emma my junior year in college and our friendship has been strong ever since. Casey is the type of guy who makes sure you’re well taken care of whether it’s a fresh drink in your hand or a big doggie bag of food leftover from the cookouts he hosts.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and I met back in 2016 through Casey (one of the groomsmen!). She and her boyfriend Parker (another groomsman!) have become some of our best friends. Stephanie recently got me into Pilates and is the one responsible for my amazing microblading and tattooed eyeliner! I'm so lucky to have her as a friend and can't wait for many more adventures!
Groomsman
I met Parker through Casey the summer after I graduated college and became good buddies with him over the years. He’s a great guy to grab a drink, swing golf clubs, or smack talk during fantasy football season with. Great hugger too.
Bridesmaid
Brianne and I have known each other since she was a freshman and I was a sophomore in high school! We met through the cross country team at Athens Drive High School and immediately hit it off. It has been so amazing to be her friend through so many stages of life - high school, college, her wedding, the arrival of her beautiful son Jude, and now my wedding!
Groomsman
Travis is another Winston Salem and Camel City Crossfit find. Along with lifting heavy objects and putting them back down, he’s also an overlanding and mountain biking buddy. If we’re all lucky, he may do the worm for the crowd.
Bridesmaid
Mandy and I were random Facebook roommates - then her dog Ollie picked me as her buddy and brought us together - and we proceeded to live together for 5 years! We made it through Covid as roommates in a very small apartment without killing each other and I can safely say she's now my ride or die friend for life!
Groomsman
Randy and I became good friends through Camel City Crossfit and weekly trivia at Incendiary Brewing in Winston Salem. He’s the type of guy you can have a smart conversation with or a dumb laugh over anything, just don’t be surprised if he takes his shirt off halfway through.
Dog
Honorary mention goes to our dog Penny! She won't be joining us on wedding day but is always there in spirit!
