Doing the DAMN thing!

It all started freshman year of high school. When life was a mix of awkward small talk, questionable fashion choices, and pretending to understand algebra. Somewhere in between all that, Kemma and Talon met, hit it off, and decided they actually liked spending time together. Before long, they were navigating high school dances, more baseball games than Kemma ever thought possible, and a well-curated schedule of ditch days. Then came college, and the universe thought, Why make this easy? so Kemma packed her bags for Utah while Talon stayed in Arizona, because, shocker, baseball wasn’t done with him yet. Thus began four years of FaceTime, airport reunions, and arguing over whose turn it was to visit. Then COVID hit. Plot twist, Kemma moved home for a year. The long-distance saga paused before Utah called her back, where she locked in and grinded toward grad school. Fast forward to May 2023, the long-distance era was officially over. For the first time in four years, they lived in the same state, and suddenly, things like spontaneous date nights were an option instead of a logistical nightmare. Now, onto the most impressive part of this story: Talon bought a ring…and then proceeded to sit on it for an ENTIRE YEAR. (Yes, a full 365 days.) But in September 2024, in the middle of a picture-perfect Maine moment, he finally got down on one knee. There were tears, excitement, and at least one person mentally screaming, about time! And now, here we are gearing up for June 2026, when this whole thing becomes official. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all our favorite people. So mark your calendars, prep your dance moves, and get ready, because this wedding is going to be worth the wait.
