We're saying, WE DO!

Kemar and Brittany met 15 years ago through a friend but even before they met Brittany seen Kemar in a picture on My Space. Yes I said, MY SPACE, and said to her friend at the time, “I got to get him.” In 2005 just 6 months later while Kemar and Brittany were shooting basketball around at a mutual friends house, Brittany saw Kemar’s flip phone and put her number in his phone. Within 24 hours, they were on the phone. For three months they got to know each other as friends and then decided to become bf/gf. Brittany was about to graduate from high school and Kemar was a college freshman; they both were ready to take on the world, see what was out there, as result Brittany decided to stop seeing Kemar because she felt he wasn’t ready to have a relationship. Brittany went off to college but all the while Kemar had been pining over Brittany exiting his life. They lost touch but in 2007 Kemar and Brittany reconnected. Kemar had matured some and had shown Brittany that he missed her and wanted her to be in his life as did Brittany and again they were bf and gf. Their spark had multiplied but in the summer of 2008 Kemar had a setback that had affected Brittany and Kemar’s relationship. Brittany told Kemar we need a break. Kemar was resistant but Brittany took a break anyway but was still praying to God for a sign on what to do. During their break, Kemar called frequently and didn’t give up on getting his woman back. Kemar’s actions and sincerity proved to Brittany that with Kemar is where she was supposed to be. On 01/09 they resumed their relationship. Third time is a charm, lol. Since then they have been inseparable, doing life together, thick and thin. Today they have a handsome son, a house that becomes more of a home every day, almost two decades of: love, accomplishments, the strength of overcoming growing pains and difficulty. Kemar and Brittany’s love has withstood the test of time. Nothing, not even Brittany or Kemar could come between what God said is meant to be!
