Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport (TVC)
TVC airport is the closest to all wedding events and the recommended option for guests travelling in from out of town. Flights can get expensive in the summer so we recommend booking travel early. For those looking for alternate flight options, Grand Rapids airport (GRR) is ~2.5 hours away and Detroit (DTW) is ~4 hours away.

The Dexter Hotel
This is the first-ever hotel in Elk Rapids and is walkable to our Welcome Event on Friday night. We will also be providing transportation from this hotel to the wedding ceremony / reception on Saturday. For those staying in Airbnbs in Elk Rapids, feel free to come to the hotel on Saturday to catch a shuttle to the wedding.

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa
This hotel is ~15 minutes from Elk Rapids and has multiple golf courses, tennis courts, and pools for those who are looking for some extra activities while they are in town. We will be providing shuttles to/from the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, but guests will be responsible for getting to the Welcome Event on Friday on their own. We recommend renting a car or asking the Concierge at the hotel to help book a taxi for Friday night. Ubers/Lyft are not readily available.
House Or Rental
AirBnb or VRBO
There are many Airbnb and VRBO options available in the area as well, which can be a great option for groups. Transporation to and from the wedding reception will be provided from The Dexter Hotel in downtown Elk Rapids, so we recommend staying in that area if you rent a house with family/friends.

Car rental and taxi information
Renting a car is the easiest way to get around if you plan on exploring the area at all while in town. Traverse City airport has locations for most major car rental companies (e.g., Hertz, Budget, Avis, National). Taxi's are also available through TC Taxi Cab and need to be scheduled in advance. Contact information can be found on their website: https://tctaxicab.com/ Uber/Lyft have recently come to the Traverse City area; however, availability is extremely limited and we do not recommend relying on this option for transportation.
