Things to Do

The Wedding Website of Kelsy Rokey and Mickey Cuesta
Tucson has often been the ignored city south of Phoenix. Many hailing from the valley of the sun snub Tucson for being small and lacking many amenities. However, over the recent years Tucson has really turned itself around including the revival of the downtown area. What was once a depressing wasteland of vacant buildings has turned into a hub of trendy restaurants, bars and breweries that have elevated traditional southwestern fare while still paying homage to their roots. They have even earned nationwide / international recognition https://www.visittucson.org/press/news-releases/2017/tucson-named-first-unesco-city-gastronomy-usa Below is a list of many different activities the region has to offer. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Kelsy

Sabino Canyon Coronado National Forest

5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750

A wonderful place to hike and take in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. The Seven Falls hike is my personal favorite :)

Catalina State Park

11570 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85737

This is a wonderful area to hike in as well. I like Romero Pools personally but if you are feeling adventurous you can take the trail all the way up to Mount Lemon from here.

Tubac

1 AVE DE OTERO ROAD, Tubac, AZ 85646

Nestled between the Tumacacori and Santa Rita mountain ranges, Tubac is a small community known as the place where art and history meet. Established in 1752 as a Spanish Presidio, Tubac has since transformed into the premier destination in Southern Arizona for culture, history, and art. The Tubac Golf Resort and Spa is a great place to have lunch after or before exploring the town

7366 N Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704

Tohono Chul is a botanical garden, nature preserve and cultural museum located in Casas Adobes, a suburb of Tucson, Arizona. The words "tohono chul" translate as "desert corner" and are borrowed from the language of the Tohono O’odham, the indigenous people of southern Arizona. Walk around their beautiful grounds or grab a bite to eat at their picturesque and delicious bistro.

Bisbee

200 Review Alley, Bisbee, AZ 85603

Whimsical, colorful, and a perhaps a little haunted, Bisbee is anything but an ordinary destination. As with all worthwhile treasures, Bisbee is a hidden gem tucked just beyond the point where you think you’ve gone too far as you approach Arizona’s southernmost border. In Bisbee, however, there’s no such thing as going too far; unless of course, you live more than 70 steps up on one of Bisbee’s 350 historic staircases. Recently voted “Best Historic Small Town in America” by USA Today Readers and “Frommer’s Best Places to Go in 2018, Bisbee is a unique place where the past collides with the present in a kaleidoscope of passion, art, color and kindness.
