We're Gettin' Married!

Caleb and I met online. He found me on one site and I found him on another. I boldly asked him to grab some coffee. Crazy to think, we met a few days after my birthday and Caleb brought a card saying "I'm your biggest fan" while wishing me a belated birthday. Our conversation lasted for a good few hours, we talked about Jesus, our testimony, what brought us online and so forth. That coffee date, then led to date number two.... the fairgrounds and then it went all down hill from there..but hey, 6 months later, with so many joyful moments, deep converstions.. and so many dad jokes. – He still put a ring on it ❤️

If you don't already know, Caleb is an absolute die hard romantic. Myself on the other hand, not so much. ( I tend to not really catch on the romantic signals... Yes, poor fella!) On February 2nd: After reaching our destination (Sausalito, CA) Caleb and I strolled through shops, tried different coffee shops ( Yes, that's another thing we love to do!) and enjoyed the vast view of the city. Caleb said he needed to take an important phone call and I went on my merry way and found myself another coffee shop. I headed to the counter and ordered myself a hot chocolate and a sugar coated, scrumptious pastry. An hour past by and Caleb came to join me. We sat in the coffee shop, by this huge glass window and chatted for an hour or so. Afterwards, we decided it was time to head on home. Caleb mentioned that he wanted to check out one more spot. It was the overlook of the Golden Gate Bridge. Mind, you it was a bit chilly and I was getting kind of tired... So, remember how I mentioned Caleb is an absolute die hard romantic? Caleb proceeds to say "How about we get out and look at the view, it looks pretty nice!" "I'm good, I think I have a good view from the car. But, how about you get out and look." Yes, I know. I'm a total buzz kill... After a few minutes, we headed back to Santa Rosa. He then said, "Why don't we grab some hot chocolate in Downtown Santa Rosa. (We had our first date at Acre's Coffee in Downtown Santa Rosa.) It was cold, everything was closed, yet we still chatted away. He kept asking questions regarding "do you remember our first date?" After about an hour, we decided to head home and make dinner..... and then, he lookee at me and said “Your dad said to tell you, He loves you." That important phone call was with my dad. He asked for his blessing. Few weeks before, Caleb met with my mom and asked for her blessing as well.. And right then and there, he got down on his knee and asked me.. "Kelsy, will you marry me?"
