Ever since we ave been together, we have had a tradition that we open 1 gift on Christmas Eve. When Christmas Eve 2019 came around we shared our 1 gift with each other. Brooks handed me a big box, and upon opening it I discovered a bunch of socks (which are great and super needed), some makeup, chap stick and a few other random things. He immediately told Weston to start recording, which had me confused but then I opened another box inside this and it was full of rose petals and the ring. I immediately began to cry and Brooks responds with "at least I made you cry and not a Hallmark movie". He asked me to marry him and immediately screamed "YES!"
