Despite graduating from the same high school one year apart, Kelsie and Patrick didn't start getting to know each other until the summer of 2016. While Kelsie was bartending at Wharf 209, she developed a crush on Pat. Little did he know his muscles and kindness (mostly the muscles) would charm her. The two were locked in a stalemate until one rare weekend of separation when Ryelle (bridesmaid), leaving Kelsie in Whitewater, ran into Patrick. Ever the wingwoman, Ryelle used this opportunity to nudge Patrick to make a move. Moments later on the dance floor of Pumpers and Mitchells, Kelsie received a phone call from Patrick demanding to talk. This led to the two on a first date at DELTA family restaurant in Oshkosh, WI. While both call Racine home, Oshkosh will always hold a special place in their hearts because it was the start of their story. Supported by friends and family, the two started spending more time together and since then haven’t wanted to have it any other way. Our relationship has been based on growth. Watching each other grow, overcoming obstacles, planning for the future and doing all of these things together. Recently, we were given the advice that we can either "grow together, or grow apart." We have achieved so much as a pair and we will always choose to grow together. Since committing to one another in 2016, there hasn't been a doubt that we won't be by each other's side, no matter what challenges we may face. We are so excited to profess our love to one another in front of the most important people to us. We cannot value our relationships with you all more than we already do, and the support you have given us throughout our entire journey together. We can't wait to celebrate with you all and look forward to our special day and all of the memories to come!
