Question

Why a wedding weekend?

Answer

We wanted to be able to spend as much time with our loved ones as possible. We figured by having a few days away, we would be able to maximize our time together. We wanted our guests to have a nice, relaxing weekend away and Sojourn will provide just that. Activities will include: laying by the pool, playing in the lake, playing yard games, having campfires, eating, drinking (lots of drinking), and just enjoying each other's company!

Question

So, how early can we come up for the weekend?

Answer

We will have access to the Sojourn Resort and all amenities from Thursday, June 24 at 3:00 p.m. to Sunday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. Kelsie, Jake, parents, and most of the bridal party will arrive on Thursday. We plan to have a very casual evening on Thursday with playing yard games and having a fire. Anyone who is in town is welcome to join. Remember to bring your favorite beverage as drinks will not be provided.

Question

Will there be other guests at Sojourn Resort?

Answer

No! The resort is reserved Thursday through Sunday for our wedding guests only! Our guests who are not staying at Sojourn still have access to all amenities all weekend.

Can I stay at Sojourn Lakeside Resort?

Answer

Unfortunately, there are only 20 rooms on the resort. These have already been filled with the bridal party, immediate family, and grandparents of the bride and groom.

Question

If I am not staying at Sojourn, is there transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! While there isn’t a hotel shuttle, we have partnered with a local cab company to transport guests to and from the resort, free of charge. If you prefer to drive, there is plenty of space for parking at Sojourn.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony on Saturday?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 p.m. Make sure you give yourself enough time to park, run to the restroom, admire the venue, and find your seat by 4:00 p.m.!

Question

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking on site at Sojourn.
