This is where we had our very first date! Walk around this beautiful park and see where we got to know each other for the first time. After spending some time at the park, walk across the street to Urban Sailor Coffee to grab a cappuccino just like we did!
The coffee shop sits just across the street from Sugarhouse Park, a perfect spot to wind down after their first date. Hunter and Kelsie had enjoyed each other’s company so much that neither wanted the date to end. On a whim, they crossed the street and ducked into the cozy café. As they ordered their cappuccinos, they both laughed when they realized they shared the same preference; no cow's milk. It was a small, unexpected connection, but one that made the day feel even more special.
Drive up one of our favorite canyons in the area. It is breathtakingly beautiful. You can grab a drink at Brighton Resort at the top of the canyon where Hunter and Kelsie spent lots of time together snowboarding. Hunter also spent his time there being a snowboard instructor. Before you head up the canyon, stop and check out Alpha Coffee, one of Hunter and Kelsie's favorite stops before heading up to snowboard in the winter.
This park, the oldest in Salt Lake City, is where our wedding venue is located. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to walk, filled with history and charm. Funny enough, it was also supposed to be the location of our very first date. We had plans to meet here, but Kelsie ended up getting sick, so we had to reschedule. Little did we know then that this park would eventually become the place where we’d celebrate one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
A beautiful public space located on the west side of the city that Hunter spends a lot of time at in his new career as a Park Ranger.
This is an incredible museum in the area! Kelsie's brother Kelly and his wife Jewls got married here in 2019.
This is a beautiful drive you can take to explore a different area and see wild Bison.
