Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends, who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Kayleen Brablec

Maid of Honor / Sister of the Bride

Kelsie and I technically "met" shortly after March 28th, 1992 aka my birthday, aka the arrival of the greatest little sister to ever grace this planet. But the real bonding began somewhere between our first choreographed NSYNC performance and our dramatic reenactments of Britney Spears music videos. If there was glitter and a dance break, we were in it. Some of my earliest (and arguably finest) memories with Kelsie involve high-stakes living room dance-offs, sibling brawls over who got first go on the Nintendo, and adrenaline-fueled sprints around the dining room table. And I'll be honest, I was a menace. But in the most lovable, chaotic, endorphin-chasing kind of way. Our bond? Built on mischief, mayhem, and maybe a little mild torment. We were the original dynamic duo. Sugar, spice, and everything nice with a flair for dramatics. Whether we were getting into trouble, planning our next backyard concert, or laughing until we cried, every memory is a treasured part of our childhood highlight reel. I'm looking forward to soaking in the magic of Kelsie and Eddie's wedding day. Watching them celebrate their love, surrounded by laughter, happy tears, and dance-floor boogies. I can't wait to witness this next chapter unfold with so much joy, sparkle, and hopefully some solid choreography (because duh, it’s tradition). Here's to a day that’s as beautiful and unforgettable as the bride herself!

Mark McCluskey

Best Man / Brother of the Groom

What can be said about Mark McCluskey? As a D1 athlete, Emmy award winner, and pizza chef extraordinaire, Mark has seen great success in a number of fields. While Mark thrives as the life of the party, more often than not you will find him in the corner petting the host’s dog. Growing up, Mark and Eddie were nigh-inseparable. While Mark is the younger of the two, he has always been tall for his age, and Eddie was relatively short for his age, which resulted in the two being mistaken for twins growing up. Their brotherly love manifested itself through their competitive nature, sometimes by fist-fighting, but primarily in the swimming pool. Mark cannot wait to celebrate Eddie’s union with Kelsie, and is proud to serve as Best Man and Best Brother.

Monica Ellis

Maid of Honor

Hi! I'm Monica, looong time friend of Kelsie. We met in 1995 when our overstimulated moms sent us outside to "go play with the neighbor kids and come back when the streetlights turn on." We have been inseparable ever since. Kelsie and I have navigated every stage of life as friends -- from AIM to AI, from Tamagotchi to TikTok. Together we endured an ultra-religious upbringing, the awkward learning curve of adolescence in the 90s, overdramatic crushes and angsty breakups, the beautiful chaos of an all-girls high school, "rebellious" teenage antics, and the omnipresence of digital cameras to document it all. Despite living in different states during college, different countries in grad school, and now 2 time zones apart, we always keep each other updated on life's givings and misgivings and we reunite as often as our adult obligations allow. Kelsie and I have been there for each other in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, all the days of our lives. Wait... Eddie, I think Kelsie might already be married... to me? This is awkward. I am thrilled to see where life takes Kelsie and Eddie, and anticipate as rowdy a reception dance floor as that of a Mercy High homecoming!

Tyler Terriault

Groomsman

Hi! I’m Tyler. I met Eddie when he was a freshman at Clark University. I was a sophomore who was desperate for friends so I was trawling the newcomers who didn’t know I was a loser. I offered them cigarettes and exam answers in exchange for hanging out with me. When I tried my luck with Eddie he said: “hey man, everything you're doing is bad and your soul looks worn. Reconsider all previous notions of yourself and maybe *then* we can have a conversation.” I went on sabbatical for 6 months to a Himalayan Xiaolin monastery with only the words Eddie has said to me in my mind. When I came back to Clark, Eddie was doing really well on the swim team, which I was also on, and made me look really bad. I was so pissed off and jealous that I ingratiated myself to him and he reluctantly let me be his roommate the following year. For the past decade I have lied to his face to get exactly to this moment. This is my grand plan coming to fruition and you are all my witnesses. (Kelsie is great and was not part of the plan and I’m happy she and Eddie got together.)

Lauren Patel

Maid of Honor

Kelsie and I have been best friends since our freshman year at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. I vividly remember introducing myself to her, to which she kindly reminded me that we’d already met twice before. TWICE. So basically, our friendship started with me being forgetful and her forgiving me. Our 15 year friendship has been full of ridiculous inside jokes that have become our own language. One of my favorite parts of our friendship is our box of memories from college where we keep little souvenirs, letters to each other, and meticulous documentation of our inside jokes. However, a real succinct summary of our friendship is SPEECH. From hours and hours and hours sitting next to each other in a van to morphing to doing all of the same events (hiya extemperrrrrr!!!), hearing each other talk and talk and talk is the core of our friendship. Given that we were roommates in real life and at tournaments, I have to think that we have spent the most hours with each other than practically anyone (before our husbands). What am I looking forward to about the big day? Seeing Colleen! Dancing to Party in the USA with Kelsie! And CRYING A LOT!

Donovan Smith

Groomsman

I first met Edmund on a warm summer night in late August 2013... and promptly ignored him to go hang out with cooler people (aka my future wife). After that tho, buds4lyfe. Some of my fondest memories include watching Eddie sprint around the room in his underwear, cleaning during a fire alarm, far far too many Yu Gi Oh references, and others that my NDA unfortunately precludes me from including. When I'm not daydreaming about hanging out with Eddie*, I enjoy my numerous hobbies which are super cool and not at all nerdy. Fully 10% of my personality is carrying Lactaid around at weddings, so don't hesitate to find me before indulging in a dairy treat. I very much look forward to dancing badly while we celebrate two very special people. *Shep and Kelsie

Erin O'Gara

Bridesmaid

Kelsie Colson and I first crossed paths back in 2005 on the Mezzanine at Mercy High School. We were rocking plaid skirts, no doubt, pre-wrap in our hair, and $12 moccasins from Target. We instantly clicked, bonding over late-night TP-ing, anything Miley Cyrus, plotting and executing pranks and me showing up at her various jobs. Over the years, Kelsie worked at about 40 different places, and I was there for it all—whether it was her ringing me up at Coldstone, Victoria’s Secret, Express, TGIF, or at least three others that I can’t even remember. Every time we hung out, shenanigans were guaranteed, and I mean every time. Most days started off with 0 plans and we would somehow get into the wildest situations. If you know Kelsie, you know she is 1 in a million. I am most looking forward to seeing Kelsie’s glow. Her happiness is infectious. Also, I love her bridal party, we are going to have such an amazing week, I can’t wait! Also, I’m a big crier, so there will probably be a lot of happy tears coming from me on Kelsie’s Wedding Day! Now let’s get this party started!

Ian Doran

Groomsman

It was shortly after the diamond heist that Ian and Eddie realized the journey they would be on together. Ian, doodle uncle and multi-time wedding veteran, invented the spatula. Ian is able to be in attendance on this day per momentary release of his post in accordance with formerly Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - Her Majesty's compassion for eternal love shall always be remembered in unrelenting grace. God save her. To be in witness of the day that lasts forever is the greatest gift we could ever receive as we continue towards October 11th of 2025. (Yes, I do parties.)

Palesa Mashigo

Bridesmaid

Palesa (aka "P") and Kelsie met in 2016 in Chungbuk, South Korea when they were randomly assigned as roommates for the duration of their two-week English Program in Korea orientation. The pair clicked instantly, bonding over the whirlwind of moving to Korea and Kelsie's ability to quickly mentally convert Rand to Won. Over the next two years, Kelsie and P would spend nearly every weekend going on adventures across the country and Southeast Asia with their tight circle of international friends. Together, they fed elephants in Thailand, rode motorbikes in Vietnam, and ate their way across Korea. For the last seven years, they've maintained their long-distance bestfriendship through countless video calls and trips to see each other in Europe. While P is most looking forward to reuniting with old friends, no one is more ready to get on the dance floor!

Jake Dinnerman

Groomsman

Thirteen years ago when I met Eddie on his recruitment trip to Clark, it became clear pretty quickly that it was a forever type thing. The subsequent years were filled with too many memories to recount. Weekdays were spent wasting time in the library and sharing massive meals in the cafeteria. The weekends were spent dancing & laughing with each other. Living together at 5 Clifton Terrace will always be an era I hold dear - trips to Maine, sneaking into Clark’s pool, fostering dogs, and spending nights watching Broad City with a tub of Tillamook ice cream for each of us. Graduation brought changes but regardless of whether we’re in RI, MA, ME, or NC. Not much is actually different - Eddie breaks out his MJ dance moves everywhere. Eddie has found such a wonderful compliment in Kelsie. I am honored and filled with joy to be his groomsman, and can't wait to share in the happiness of his wedding day.

Lianne McCluskey

Bridesmaid / Sister of the Groom

Being Eddie's sister and Partner-In-Crime™, Eddie and I have been involved in various hi-jinks throughout our adolescence and adulthood. Notably, jumping off our local bridge into the swimming hole, cruising into town blasting classical music out of our Jeep Grand Cherokee, and building an anatomically-accurate snowman during a major snowstorm on New Years Eve. I first met Kelsie...through Eddie of course! I think the first time we met was at Eddie's apartment in Worcester, just a few months after they began dating. Our friendship has grown between eating takeout sushi, coming over to my apartment in Waltham with Korean Fried Chicken, and walking our dogs! I can't wait to be a Bridesmaid for Kelsie, and be there to watch my little bro get hitched!

Stan Grunder

Groomsman

I met Eddie at a young age when we were on the YMCA swim team together. It was in high school that we formed a strong friendship. We both ran track and field, played band and sang in chorus. After high school we always made sure to spend time with our friends when back home from school. See me or Ian at the reception for more details that cannot be included here. I think what defines our friendship more than anything has been going on adventures like hiking, swimming, camping and river rafting. More recently these adventures included Kelsie. My wife Casey and I have really enjoyed getting to know Kelsie and wow is Eddie lucky to have her. She was always game to go camping and hiking with us. Even when camping one time they booked an RV site on accident and forgot to bring an airbed and slept on gravel for not one but two nights. Or the time we carried Skeeter up the Beehive Trail in Acadia National Park. Despite the fact that I live in Maine and Eddie in Rhode Island, our friendship has continued beyond college and into the adult world. I have to give Eddie most of the credit for this. A lot of people in this position would let a friendship go by the wayside but Eddie always put in the effort. I am especially thankful of several times in recent years where I was able to lean on Eddie for support during challenging times in my own life. Eddie you are one lucky man and I am so excited and proud to celebrate you and Kelsie!

Alyssa Mako

Bridesmaid / Sister of the Groom

As Eddie's eldest sister, Alyssa has always been considered the "responsible one" in the family, being a supportive older sister and role model throughout childhood. Alyssa lives in Tucson, Arizona, with her wonderful husband, Calvin, and has continued acting as a strong role model as Super-Mom to their four kids, Maximilian, Cecilia, Zelie, and Samuel. However, don't let the classic, all-American family perception fool you! Alyssa is a prolific fencer; and is highly skilled with the blade. Watch yourself! All jokes aside, Alyssa is extremely happy to celebrate Kelsie and Eddie's nuptials, welcoming Kelsie officially into the family.

Alden Parker

Groomsman

Eddie and I became friends in high school through pacing each other in cross country (he was always a bit faster) and being big nerds together in Latin club (go Fulgor Pisces!). I can't possibly overstate how grateful I am that we've maintained that friendship, and further strengthened it in recent years. Despite the separation of Eddie moving out of state, it's meant so much that we've made an effort to hang out whenever he's back up in Maine (hopefully some day I'll get around to visiting him in Rhode Island). But I guess the move was worth it, as I've really enjoyed getting to know Kelsie, and most of all Shep. Find me at the wedding if you want to talk about board games, baking, botany, or ask about my award-winning beans!

John McCluskey

Officiant and Father of the Groom

Eddie's father, John, is honored to serve as officiant for Kelsie and Eddie's ceremony. Growing up, Eddie learned important life lessons from his father, such as the value of hard work to provide for your family, while maintaining a lighthearted attitude by not sweating the small stuff, and using a humorous positive attitude to build and maintain relationships in both personal and professional company. Eddie and his brother Mark worked firsthand with their father to help him achieve his dream of owning and operating his own business, the Camden House of Pizza located in Camden, Maine. The skills and lessons that John has imparted upon his sons have helped them become successful in their respective fields, and sets a strong precedent for how they will grow and develop their own families. If you find yourself in Camden during your visit, come by Camden House of Pizza for a slice or a sandwich!

Emerson Brablec

Ring Bearer/ Bride's Nephew

Emerson, Kelsie’s energetic and hilarious nephew, is technically the ring bearer—though he’s still undecided about all that aisle-walking attention. He prefers the spotlight on his terms: like when he’s diving for a Hail Mary touchdown or out-fishing everyone with 50+ catches in under an hour (yes, really). While we’re crossing our fingers he delivers the rings like a pro, don’t be surprised if he opts for a strategic sideline exit. Either way, you’ll spot him zipping around inventing backyard games, turning every moment into an adventure—and probably still managing to steal the show in his own way.

Lilah Brablec

Flower Girl/ Bride's Niece

Lilah, Kelsie’s one and only niece, is stepping into her royal role as the flower girl with sugar, spice, and everything nice. A soon-to-be five-year-old with a flair for the spotlight, Lilah knows how to work a room—until she decides to play coy and pretend she’s shy (don’t fall for it). Behind the sparkles and sweet smiles is a girl who’s probably bossing around her older brother one minute and dramatically pouting the next because she just missed catching the bouquet. But trust us—somewhere between the petals and princess twirls, there will be a moment of pure, magical cuteness that steals the show and your heart

Maximilian Mako

Ring Bearer

Max is very honored to be a part of Kelsie and Eddie's ceremony! Max's favorite subject in school is Science, where he can learn about the world around him. This summer, he and his Uncle Eddie explored tide pools at the beach, finding crabs, shells, and slimy rocks. Maybe some day he will be a scientist just like his Dad! Some of Max's other interests include dinosaurs, trucks, and LEGOs. Beyond that, he also enjoys doing karate with his sister Ceci at the Y, and is very excited to serve as Ring Bearer.

Cecilia Mako

Flower Girl

Cecilia Mako, who likes to go by Ceci, is very excited to be a Flower Girl for Eddie and Kelsie's ceremony. Ceci is an aspiring hairstylist, with her younger sister, Zelie, acting as her client when Mom and Dad aren't looking. Her other interests include princesses (her favorite is Anna from Frozen), and karate, which she does with her older brother, Max. She can't wait to enjoy the ceremony, and is especially excited to eat some wedding cake!

Zelie Mako

Flower Girl

Zelie Mako, age 3, is Eddie's youngest niece, and cannot wait to be a Flower Girl along with Ceci and Lilah. Zelie's interests include princesses and puzzles, and can often be found climbing on furniture and jumping off (safely, of course). Zelie looks up to her older brother and sister as positive role models, while she herself serves as a role model for her younger brother, Sam. If you ask her who her favorite uncle is, she might say Uncle Mark, but that may be due to coercion or bribery, and could be subject to change after the wedding.
