Where should I stay?

Answer

We suggest booking lodging through Airbnb, VRBO or other similar sites. We recommend finding a place near Cheesman Park, the Denver Botanic Gardens or Parker's to be closest to the party! There are also major hotel chains available along 16th Street Mall (about a 30-minute walk or 10-minute drive) or near Cherry Creek Mall (about a 10-minute drive, not walkable). If you will not have a car while you are in town and aren't close enough to walk, we suggest using Lyft or Uber, RTD (local public transit) or carpooling with other guests.

I've heard Denver has 150+ breweries! What are your favorites?

Our favorites in Denver (and nearby) are: - Great Divide (both Arapahoe St. and Brighten Ave. locations!) - Cerebral Brewing - Bruz off Fax - Holidaily (locations in Denver Tech Center and Golden, CO!) Honorable mentions (not beer): - Leopold Brothers (distillery) - Carboy Winery - Infinite Monkey Theorem - Sienna Wine Bar - Forest Room 5 (fun bar!) - Wymans (dive bar) - Retrograde (ice cream!) If you're staying in town the following week, the country's largest beer festival -- the Great American Beer Festival -- will be taking place at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Oct. 10-12. Alex will be pouring Great Divide beer at their tent, stop by and say hello!
