The roses will be blooming! A Portland must for visitors, and a beautiful stop within Washington Park.
While you're at the Rose Garden, you might as well check out the rest of Washington Park, including the Japanese Gardens, Hoyt Arboretum, or even the Oregon Zoo. The MAX Light Rail has a stop here for easy commuting.
You can't visit Portland without trekking out to the famous Multnomah Falls. Be advised, you will need a permit this time of year, so plan ahead (link below). Make sure you stop by Vista House while you're out there.
Another classic Portland stop.
Over 80 miles of trails of all levels, right here in the city!
Take a tour inside or just come up for free views of the city. You can even hike here from the Lower Macleay Trail in Forest Park.
The location of our second date!
You can find a lot of yummy snacks and peruse cool local art!
This is one of the best farmers markets in the area and it’s just down the street from the church!
We went here on our first date!
Countless food carts in downtown Beaverton!
Kelsie's favorite stop for ice cream! There are a bunch of locations all around the Portland area and even one in Beaverton. You have to try all their quirky (and surprisingly delicious) flavors, in addition to all the yummy classics.
Forget Voodoo and Blue Star Donuts (seriously, overrated) - Pip's is a much better choice for Portland donuts. They have a location in Beaverton as well!
It really is good. But you can't go wrong with any Portland coffee spot!
A cozy spot in downtown Beaverton. And Harry Potter themed lattes!
The sweet potato waffles...
You'll find a lot of Korean Barbecue in Beaverton, but we've been told this one is the best.
The cutest sushi restaurant. Maybe they'll be playing Backstreet Boys again like when we went.
A unique Japanese-Korean fusion
