Chris and I met at a high school football game, thanks Sheree! I was hesitant to go to the game but glad I did. Thanks to Sarah for encouraging me to go. After that night Chris and I connected via Facebook a few weeks later. Chris did the gentleman thing and took me on a date. From there we continued to spend time together, getting to know each other, along with our families and friends and falling in love. The rest is history...

Chris proposed Easter Sunday at his parents' house. I had a feeling that the ring was coming, we had many open discussions about it, however I was unsure of the when. Honestly, I assumed it would be during an upcoming beach vacation. With that said I was VERY surprised. Chris did it in front of most of his immediate family and spoke the sweetest words.
