Question

Are you still getting married on October 10?

Answer

Yes! We are getting married on October 10, 2020. We are taking every precaution to ensure our wedding adheres to CDC guidelines and provides a safe environment for our guests. Due to the current pandemic, we've had to downsize our wedding to immediate family and a few close friends, so we will be livestreaming our ceremony so guests can also attend virtually.

Question

What safety precautions are you taking at the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking all guests to wear masks while in the church. The church seats 700 people and guests will be seated with their party, at least 6 feet from other guests. Additionally, the church is professionally cleaned with disinfectant spay before and after each service to prevent transmission.

Question

What safety precautions are you taking at the reception?

Answer

Our reception will adhere to government guidelines for wedding receptions. We will have open air or airflow throughout the space as well as sanitizing stations for guests. All staff is required to wear a mask and gloves for the entire event, have completed the COVID-19 training program and have tested negative for COVID-19 three (3) days before our reception. Guests can wear masks and space out to their comfort levels around the gardens.

Question

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes! There is a big parking lot at Holy Trinity Catholic Church where you can park for the ceremony. Due to coronavirus, we will no longer have valet parking at Mercat Bistro. Instead, you'll be able to self-park in the parking garage.

Question

Will the reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! We have reserved the glass gazebo and gardens at Mercat Bistro. We plan to open the double doors in the gazebo to allow airflow and easy walking between the indoor and outdoor space.

Question

We want to come, but just don't feel comfortable. Can we still celebrate with you?

Answer

Absolutely! We are planning to livestream our ceremony so anyone not in attendance can join in.

For all the days along the way
