Flight
Santa Barbara Airport is going to be the most convenient airport to fly into. Layovers are generally through major hubs like Los Angeles (LAX) or Phoenix (PHX). It's about a 20 minute drive from Carpinteria.
Flight
LAX usually offers the most direct flights and best prices. However, it is about 100 miles away and could add 1.5 - 2 hours of travel time, depending on traffic. Renting a car is suggested. Alternatively, the Santa Barbara Airbus offers a shuttle service to/from LAX that is convenient and easy to use.

The Santa Barbara Airbus is a great alternative to renting a car if you are flying into LAX. Please refer to the schedule on the SB Airbus site for more information and purchasing tickets.
