Let's have a roaring good time!

Zach and I met my freshmen year of college (his sophomore year) at Valley City State University but we both were dating other people at the time. We didn't really talk or become close but we did have a few mutual friends. I transferred to NDSCS the following year because I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. After my year at NDSCS I had somewhat of an epiphany and decided to go back to VCSU and pursue an English Education degree. I moved in with one of my best friends and three other girls. Not even two weeks after moving back to Valley City Zach and I met up at a house party and we really hit it off. We started dating September 27, 2015. We enjoyed the rest of our college years with each other. We got engaged December 8, 2018 (my 24th birthday) in one of my favorite places, Duluth, MN. We ended up finding out I was pregnant a few weeks later. We had Leo Michael David Nelson on August 19, 2019. We moved into our first house together in June 2019 in Hankinson, ND, where I am now the K-12 school librarian, one of the drama directors, and the speech coach. Zach was the teaching science in Forman, ND at Sargent Central High School and one of the Jr. High football coaches for his team. He recently accepted a science teaching position in Hankinson. Over the years we also have taken in two sweet pups, Prim and Kyah. Now we are getting married July 18, 2020. The wedding was supposed to take place at the Walcott Lutheran Church, where Zach's parents and grandparents were married as well, but due to current circumstances, our wedding ceremony will take place in the Hankinson Community Center. The reception and dance are at the Hankinson Community Center as well.
