This is a great place for a day trip with multiple ferry launch points. Once on the Island, head over to Ballards Beach for a cocktail and beautiful blue waters.
Cape Cod is quintessential New England. Great beaches, delicious seafood, and at the very top, Provincetown. From the Cape, you can take a ferry out to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.

There are a variety of beaches in RI. Some town beaches charge for parking and a per person entry fee. Other beaches just for parking and some have street parking. One of the hidden gems in RI, are our small quant beaches. If you are going to plan a beach day, always have a backup plan in case weather does not cooperate.
