Flight
Texas has a lot of airports, unfortunately Bryan, TX does not. Our favorite airport when we travel is George Bush Intercontinental in Houston. It is a little over an hour away from us- insider tip: rush hours are Mon- Fri from 6:00am-9:00am and again from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Keep rush hour in mind when planning your trip (Houston traffic during rush hour is torture. 1 hour can easily turn to 3) so you are able to avoid it.
Flight
To get a taste of the Texas Hill Country the Airport in Austin is another choice. It is a bit further than Houston, but it's a beautiful, scenic, drive. You may even catch some of Texas' famous fields of Bluebonnets and other wild flowers.
