Maid of Honor
Kiersten is my twin sister and best friend. I have known her for her whole life, almost all of mine except for 2 minutes. Having a twin sister is such a special bond. We have grown up, and been through so much together. It has been such a blessing to have a built in best friend. She understands me in a way no one else can. She is strong, kind, and uniquely her own person, while still sharing that unbreakable connection with me. We have had the opportunity to travel together to California, Mexico, Napa, and so many more destinations. We love to have fun and joke around. I am so thankful for her and our relationship.
Matron of Honor
Karis has been my best friend since 2nd grade. 28 years ago, 2 kids who didn’t know anyone else, found each other and became best friends. We played sports, went to movies, went to school dances, spent time in seminar, were teacher assistants, lived in the same college town, and celebrated so many milestones together. I was the maid of honor at Karis’ wedding so many years ago, and since, have seen her become an amazing mother to 3 beautiful children. Karis has been so supportive of Tyler and my relationship. I don’t know who I would be if I didn’t have her in my life. It has been such a joy growing up with such a great friend.
Best Man
Cody and I have been best friends for 20+ years, and looking back, I can truly say that our friendship was meant to be. In 7th grade, after both of our previous teams had disbanded, Cody and I were lined up alphabetically next to each other at baseball tryouts. And as fate would have it, we would land on the same team and never play baseball apart ever again. Not only did Cody and I share a love for baseball, but after making small talk at tryouts, we quickly discovered that we also had mutual friends dating back to elementary school. We would all eventually reconnect in middle school and remain close friends to this day. But Cody is more than just my best friend; he is family. We have shared countless experiences together and have been through almost every major life event in each other's lives since that fateful day on the diamond. Cody means so much to me and my family, and I am beyond blessed and grateful to have a brother I can count on anytime, for any reason. Cody and I will undoubtedly remain close for the rest of our lives, and I couldn't imagine not having him by my side for Kelsey's and my wedding.
