How We Met
2011
Kelsey and Tyler met in the winter of 2011, while marching Redline Percussion, a world class marching arts organization. They went on to march Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps together later that summer.
Dating
August, 14 2016
After losing touch for a few years, Tyler and Kelsey reconnected in 2016 while in Indianapolis for DCI Finals.
The Proposal
September 20, 2020
Tyler proposed on September 20, 2020. He had made reservations at San Morello in Detroit for Kelsey's birthday and had secretly booked a room at the Shinola Hotel in the same building. After dinner, Kelsey entered the room with "Marry Me" spelled out on the couch in lighted letters.
