Lake Almanor has always been a special place to the two of us, it’s our home away from home and our happy place. As soon as we got engaged we both knew we wanted to get married in the mountains and what better place to do it then our second home, literally!
On the morning of June 7, 2022 while on our trip to Yellowstone we had been exploring the Northeast side of the park where we had come across an amazing mountain range. Trevor wanted to pull over and take a picture, but that morning had been cold, cloudy and snowing. We decided to go explore another part of the park. After lunch Trevor insisted we go back to those mountains so we could take a picture. We headed back and as soon as we got there it started pouring rain that then turned to snow. Still Trevor was very persistent on getting a picture of the 2 of us and trying out his new tripod. We waited out the storm and the sun finally came out. We headed up a short hiking trail till he found the perfect spot… we then took A TON of pictures until he switched it to video and got down on one knee, I automatically said YES! It was magical, it was starting to snow again and it made the moment even more perfect.
