We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met in 2013 at Central Michigan University (Fire up!). We were friends throughout grad school and stayed in touch when Ter moved to Albuquerque for his PhD and Kelsey moved to Madison for work. We became very close friends when Kelsey moved to Albuquerque in 2017. As we continued to become closer, people would often ask us why we weren't dating but we both agreed that we were just best friends. As it turns out, people saw the connection between us before we did. On June 23rd, 2018, Kelsey was having a pretty crumby day. As she was crying, Ter said "I hate seeing you like this, and I should have kissed you five years ago, when I met you". In that moment, Kelsey realized that it was always supposed to be Ter. They've both been in a relationship with their best friend, ever since.
