When we met isn't an specific time exactly. We worked for the same company and went to a few of the same happy hours and had seen each other here and there. The event that changed it all was karaoke. We were both invited to a coworkers karaoke party and we decided to go...we were the only ones in the office who showed up...in a group where everyone else knew each other. Though we didn't know each other that well, we got to talking and everything seemed to flow so easily! Talking was a breeze and we had a lot in common. We decided to sing a duet and the rest is history!

Sean is the sweetest man and I am the luckiest woman! He planned it out with careful detail, I was sure that I would know something was up, but was completely clueless. We planned on having a nice dinner with his parents at the beautiful Brenner's Steakhouse to celebrate Houston Restaurant Weeks. We arrived a few minutes early (I know, I was ready early, shocker!) and Sean's mom suggested we take pictures out by their incredible garden patio. When we walked outside I got the surprise of a lifetime. My family was there waiting for us! Needless to say, at this point I was a bit confused. I turned around and Sean reached for my hands. It all started to click, and I started tearing up. He dropped down on one knee. I started crying and said "YES!" . We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
