Downtown Nashville is home to it's legendary honky tonks where you can hear incredible music whether it's 10am or 10pm. If you've never been to Nashville before, the Broadway strip is worth a visit. Stop into Tootsies or Robert's Western World for a drink and a live band, visit the Johnny Cash Museum, National Museum of African American Music, tour the legendary Ryman Auditorium, or check out Fort Nashboro on the riverfront. The Country Music Hall of Fame is just a few blocks over, or take in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, where Kelsey sings with the Symphony Chorus. There's something to do any time of day, but the nightlife is one of a kind.
This is where we had our first date! Recreate it by throwing a football in the green spaces of Centennial Park and bask in the glory of the life size replica of Athena's Temple. Tickets are available to tour the inside of the Parthenon and museum for those who are interested.
Historic and quaint, downtown Franklin is full of great boutiques, restaurants, beautiful houses and interesting Civil War history. If you're in the area for a few days, we'd recommend spending an afternoon in this beautiful town.
