FAQs

Question

1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional. Let’s dress to impress! What does this mean? For the women, floor length, formal dresses. For the men, tuxedo, suit, or a jacket with formal slacks. Please no khakis. We encourage the ladies to wear colors, this is Miami after all! Please save white for the bride.

Question

2. What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Weather this time of year is generally high 70s to low 80s, though it can get a little chillier at night. Please also prepare in case of rain - you never know in Miami Beach!

Question

3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will both be taking place at The Palms Hotel and Spa. 3025 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida 33140.

Question

4. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and reception will be taking place in The Palms lawn. Ladies, please keep this in mind for your shoe choice as we don’t want you sinking into the grass. Sometimes it can get a little breezy down in Miami Beach, we recommend bringing a hair clip or two, just in case.

Question

5. What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and family will be taking pictures nearby. During this time, we invite our guests to enjoy o'dourves and libations during cocktail hour on the Veranda Terrace.

Question

6. Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

As we would love to invite everyone to dinner, unfortunately we have to limit our rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We do hope you can join us in all the other fun events we have planned over the weekend!

Question

7. How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Given the proximity of hotels, the welcome drinks and the wedding, we will not be providing transportation. We suggest walking or if you are unable, a car service - there are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts in the area. The beauty about staying at our recommended hotel, The Palms, you simply need to head downstairs!! If you are not staying with us at The Palms, we highly recommend staying nearby in Miami Beach to avoid traffic or bridge risk.

Question

8. What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Question

9. Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

If you plan to drive or rent a car, a valet service is available for a cost at The Palms.

Question

10. Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

11. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

12. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

14. Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

Answer

Yes, we will be serving a plated, sit-down dinner at the Reception. You will be able to make your selection in the RSVP.
