We were set up by friends on a Sunday after game day at the University of South Carolina (thanks Emily Nickles and Laura Wysocki). Though not the most ideal time to meet for the first time, we began dating through the fall and spring of Ryan's senior year of college. With a big push from Jess Hatala, Ryan asked Kelsey to make it official in March of 2013. From Columbia, SC, we made the move to Atlanta in June 2014. From then, we both went through many life changes of starting to work to dating long distance while we both finished our respective schooling. We moved in together in March 2019, got our COVID baby (dog) Oliver in May 2020, and closed on our first house in August 2020. Through renovating a house and raising a puppy, we have truly learned what a wonderful team we make. Ryan proposed on August 7, 2021, one day before his 30th birthday, while we were in Colorado to celebrate his birthday milestone. After nearly nine years of dating, we are so excited to celebrate our story and make the steps towards starting our life together as husband and wife.
