What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony starts.

Can I explore the cemetery?

Answer

Absolutely! Shortly after the ceremony, you will have time to explore the cemetery. We will ring the bell when it is time to head back to the reception for dinner.

Due to venue restrictions, the event is for adults only.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Paid parking is available (via the ParkMobile app) in the paved lot at 342 Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. SE. The entrance to the lot is directly across the street from DAS BBQ. Free street parking is also available on surrounding streets. As parking is limited, Marta (King Memorial station is three blocks north of the gate) and rideshare are strongly encouraged.
