What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:45 PM to allow time for seating.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony, a parking lot is available just northwest of the church for guests’ convenience. For the reception at the University Club of Chicago, valet parking will be available upon arrival.

How do I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We recommend using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft for transportation to and from both the ceremony and reception venues. This is the most convenient option for navigating the city and evening festivities. Note that the University Club is a private club and will not allow guests until 5:30pm. If you prefer to drive, please see the parking details above for each location.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Following the ceremony, there will be a brief break before cocktail hour begins. We encourage guests to enjoy the neighborhood — take a stroll, explore the area, or grab a drink at the classic Twin Anchors or Marge's Still, just a short walk from the church. Alternatively, you’re welcome to return to the hotel to relax and refresh before joining us at 5:30 PM for cocktail hour. Please do not arrive earlier as this is a private club.
