Travel Note

Travel Routes to Lake Pend Orielle

The quickest route doesn't bare as much scenic or hot springs treasures as the other, but its for those who need time on their side, this is the best route. It takes approximately 7 1/2 hours on I-84 through Oregon, not including stops. If you have that sweet time, we recommend taking ID-55 and US-95N through McCall to enjoy the scenery, and find that good spring to dip into. This route is closer to 8 hours, but a good day trip if you indulge, which is always a good idea.

Flying to Lake Pend Orielle

If you want to travel by air, the easiest is to fly into Spokane, and drive into the Sandpoint area. It takes about 45 minutes from Spokane to Sandpoint. Don't worry, the trip is still beautiful.
